Schedule a complimentary new client therapy placement consultation

During this 20 minute video call, you will meet with a placement specialist to talk about the changes you'd like to see in your life. You will learn which therapists are available and might be best to support your needs, have an opportunity to ask questions, and finally, get matched with the Black Girl Doctor who is right for you!

Complete your paperwork & attend your intake assessment appointment

An intake assessment is a 60 minute appointment where you will meet your therapist and delve deep into your presenting concerns and background. Together you will set goals for treatment and agree to how frequently you will meet for therapy sessions.

Attend your therapy sessions and start healing​
Therapy sessions are 50 minute appointments where you will work with your therapist on the goals you outlined and frequently check in to assess your progress. Therapy is active and you will be expected to continue working on your goals between sessions.
And that's it... sweet potato pie!

Insurance
We are not contracted with any insurance panels. This allows us the most flexibility in providing culturally competent care and protecting your privacy.
If you have out of network (OON) benefits, we do offer a service that will processes claims for you so you don't have to deal with the hassle of the reimbursement paperwork. You may call our office to verify your benefits, check your deductible, and get your estimated out-of-pocket cost per session. 510-250-2805.
