At what point do you decide to show up as your authentic self in all spaces? If you’re reading this, here’s your start.

I believe having clarity about the WHY you do, say, and think the way you do begins with denying the narrative that you are too “booked and busy” to peel back those layers of your identity hidden from the world. These are the parts of us that both consciously and unconsciously influence our daily interactions, and keep us conditioned to believe we have to negotiate space rather than command it! But not anymore.

I specialize in creating a safe space to slay self-doubt by changing the narrative. Why? Because we are what we say and what we think! Integrating evidenced based treatment with a short term, strength based, and culturally informed approach, we will laugh, explore, and unpack. We will discuss underlying beliefs, generational traumas, and internalized oppression that keep you from achieving your desires. My aim is to empower you to become your own #goals by being intentional and accountable as the best version of yourself at home, work, and in relationships!

My formal education includes a PhD in Clinical Psychology from the Virginia Consortium Program in Clinical Psychology, an MA in Business Psychology from the Chicago School of Professional Psychology (Los Angeles campus), and a BA in Psychology from theeee Hampton University. I completed a nationally accredited predoctoral internship and postdoctoral residency at South Florida State Hospital, and have advanced training healing diverse individuals with trauma, psychotic, and personality related disorders.

I also have experience facilitating difficult dialogues, and providing diversity and mental health related training to individuals across diverse settings. I enjoy facilitating safe spaces for hard conversations between all kinds of people.

Currently, I’m expanding the breadth of my expertise in healing practices by seeking out learning experiences involving ancestral forms of healing and energy work such as reiki, to incorporate into everyday practice.

I am a Cali girl born and raised but now call Florida home. Outside of work, I love a great documentary, all things pasta, kindle reading, brunch vibes, and spending time with family, friends, my partner, and our two chihuahuas Henny and Rozay.

I am grateful as a Black female psychologist to work in a space like the BGD where I am constantly reminded of my value. I seek to remind you of that as well in our work together! Your joy, dreams, and purpose matter, so less pouring from an empty cup and more claiming the life you deserve! If you’re still reading this, I can’t wait to connect with you.
